On Monday May 11, 2015 at 10:00 a.m. at R.B. Stall High School in Charleston Carolina Panthers Tight End Greg Olsen will join U.S. Senator Tim Scott, and Visa Inc. to tackle head on the issue of financial literacy improvement among Palmetto State teens. They will announce an expansion of the statewide effort to improve the money management skills of high school and middle school students with Financial Football, a free educational video game and classroom curriculum developed by the NFL and Visa Inc. The game is being distributed by the Senator’s three regional offices to 506 middle schools and high schools in South Carolina.
The centerpiece of South Carolina’s financial education initiative with Visa, the NFL, and NFL PLAYERS, Financial Football helps students and adults tackle their financial futures. The launch of this multi-layer program will include an online component for all South Carolinians and DVDs with additional teaching resources, which will be provided to each school and various community organizations throughout the state. Details of the program will be announced at the launch.

Panthers Tight End Greg Olsen joins U.S. Senator Tim Scott and representatives from Visa for an event launching Financial Football statewide.
As part of this event Sen. Scott and Olsen will coach the students, divided into teams, in a high energy game of Financial Football projected onto a big screen at the front of the room.
